Mark and Rachel Bright live in Surrey, British Columbia and have three amazing girls, Megan (11), Emily (9) and Julia (7). Rachel is a family doctor who has a passion for the care of pregnant women and babies. She grew up in northern BC and had a life changing experience when she moved to Kenya in high school with her family. There her eyes were opened to the tremendous needs of people living outside of North America. She completed her science degree at Trinity Western University where she strongly felt God calling her into medicine. She completed medical school at the University of British Columbia and has practiced family medicine for the last 10 years in White Rock, BC. Rachel has participated in short term missions trips to Kazakstan, the Philippines, and to Mali, West Africa. She is extremely excited to spend a longer period of time in Africa, a continent that she loves dearly.
